Dr. Sonia Chopra is on a mission to save teeth. Before she became a Board Certified Endodontist, she was a patient. Born without 8 teeth, she frequently visited the dentist office, but it wasn’t until a tooth was mistakenly extracted that she discovered the importance of root canals.
Today, she is the creator of E-School, an online education forum for general dentists worldwide, sharing knowledge on how to perfect endodontic skills, improve diagnosis, and deliver compassionate solutions by considering whole patient care.
She is also founder of Ballantyne Endodontics in Charlotte, NC, where she is a leader, teacher, and mentor in the local dental community. Through all aspects of her work, she emphasizes the importance of helping patients understand the “why” and “how” of their procedure.
Dr. Chopra is a Director for the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics, and on the CE Committee of the American Association of Endodontists. And if that weren’t keeping her busy enough, she is a wife and mom of 3!
