Ally Tompkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience treating a range of clinical issues across a diverse adult population. Ally earned her BA in journalism from Columbia College Chicago and her Master’s degree in clinical social work from Loyola University Chicago.

Ally works with individuals seeking therapy as a means of improving their lives. Her work is informed by a “Health At Every Size” (HAES) framework, allowing her clients to feel accepted and safe in their bodies and in the therapeutic space right from the start.

Ally uses a range of evidenced-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). Ally cares deeply about the populations she has served, and over the years she has presented on eating disorder treatment to professionals, consumers, and students. Ally loves to learn and teach and is always seeking out new trainings and workshops to further her expertise in the areas most important to her clients.
